Small Steps, Big Dreams: Notes from Playtime and Beyond

Lately, I have been thinking about how the smallest steps can hold the biggest patterns. Like fractals, every tiny piece reflects the whole. Our actions, however small, can carry the shape of our dreams.

A few weeks ago, I spent time at Playtime New York, helping create the trend spaces for the show. It was one of those moments that fills you with gratitude. I was honored to collaborate with my new friend Caterina Vaudano and reminded how inspiring it is when people create together from the heart.

Being in that space also reminded me why I love this creative community. The energy, the friendships, and the simple joy of sharing ideas and inspiration are what make it so special. I also visited Shoppe Object, another design show I have always loved. These trips are about more than work. They are about reconnecting with old friends, meeting fellow designers and entrepreneurs, and soaking in the creative buzz that keeps ideas alive.

All of these experiences are tiny steps toward the dreams I hold for lulaland. Each conversation, each shared idea, and each spark of creativity feels like a small yes to what is possible.
